GMK 210 material moisture measurement devices, now stocked by Practical Control Solutions , have been designed to assist in ensuring the early detection and prevention of moisture damage.
Utilising capacitive material moisture measuring, with a special characteristic curve for Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP), these devices are ideal for detecting moisture damage in:
- camper vans; and
- motor homes, among other applications.
A sensor on the rear of these devices measures moisture, with two measuring depths selectable at 10mm and 25mm.
To take a measurement, the devices are simply placed on the surface to be tested and the measurement is taken in a completely non-destructive process.
GMK 210 material moisture measurement devices contain curves for a variety of wood densities, in addition to GRP and lightweight insulating materials such as Styrofoam.
A bar graph on the display indicates whether the material under test is wet, dry, or somewhere in between, without the need for the user to refer to reference tables.
An acoustic signal can also be used to alert operators to wet areas. In addition, a detection mode with a configurable alarm can be used to find wet areas within a structure.
