The GBS02, available from Practical Control Solutions , is a hydrostatic pressure level transmitter suitable for permanent use in lakes, rivers, wells, and water tanks. It can also be used to measure aggressive media such as fuel, using the optional safe version. Lightning protection is available as an option. Level measurement ranges are from 1m to 250m water column.
The GBS02 hydrostatic pressure level transmitter uses a piezoresistive pressure sensor with integral temperature compensation. Operating temperature is from -10 to 85°C. The GBS02 hydrostatic pressure level transmitter features a welded, non-corrosive design with a sealed water-proof connecting cable. Pressure compensation is achieved through the cable, which incorporates an integrated air path to the atmosphere. Cable lengths up to 300m are available. The cable material is FEP.
