The new Hioki 3129 phase rotation detectors from Power Parameters provide a high degree of safety through the new, non-contact, electrostatic induction detection method employed. The non-metallic clamps used with the instruments provide effective insulation to the operators.
The Hioki 3129-10 offers clamps that can encircle conductors to 40 mm diameter and the Hioki 3129 has standard clamps suitable for conductors to 17 mm in diameter.
The Hioki phase rotation detectors are suitable for three-phase power circuits with line voltages to 1000 V AC (model 3129-10) and 600 V AC (model 3129), and frequencies from 45 to 66 Hz. Phase indication is provided audio visually by means of 4 LEDS lit in clockwise or counter-clockwise rotation, and three short beeps for clockwise rotation and one short beep for counter-clockwise rotation.The Hioki 3129 phase rotation detectors comply with important IEC safety standards (Cat III 1000 V, Cat IV 600 V for the Hioki 3129-10 and Cat III 600 V for the Hioki 3129).
