Power Parameters introduces the new Camille Bauer Kinax HW730 Modbus/TCP hollow shaft with PoE programmable angular position transducers.
Suitable for complex control schemes, the Kinax HW370 angular position transducers have a Modbus TCP/IP (IEC 61158 conforming) 100 BASE TX Ethernet (PoE) interface with a transmission rate of 10/100 Mbit/sec, and utilise an 8-pole spring type terminal block or 4-pole solid cable gland to connect to Cat-5 wiring.
The mechanism for angle measurement is capacitive utilising an accurately dimensioned rotatable vane from 0 to 360 degrees in clockwise or anticlockwise mode, with a 14 bit resolution (absolute precision of ±0.15°), and a low starting torque of only 0.5 Nm max.
Key features of the Kinax HW730 angular position transducers include dust and waterproof construction to IP67/IP69K; suitable for marine service applications according to GL (German Lloyd) requirements; designed for use in challenging environments; high vibration and shock resistance in accordance with IEC 60068-2-6; and parameterisation and data acquisition facilitated via Camille Bauer CB PC Manager software, included in the supply package.
The Kinax HW370 transducers are supplied in a rugged anodised aluminium housing, capable of accommodating up to 30mm shaft extensions.
