METRIX’S new OX 7000 series hand-held oscilloscope analysers are suitable for the laboratory, R&D, portable and industrial environments, due to their 600V Cat III 2 or 4 isolated input channels. The device presents five instruments in one: oscilloscope, multimeter, recorder (option), FFT analyser, and harmonics analyser (option). They are available in Australia from Power Parameters Pty Ltd .
The OX 7000’s communication features permit remote operation and data transfer via Ethernet and web server. They are available with colour or black/white high resolution CCFL screens.
The oscilloscope functions at sampling speeds to 25GS/s in continuous mode, or 1 Gs/s in single-shot mode with 12 bit DSP for the signal channels. The DMM functions also have 8000 point resolution and provide TRMS measurement.
Other functions include FFT 2500 point analysis using Hanning or rectangular windows with logarithmic and linear amplitude scales and harmonic analyser option up to the 31st order. Mathematics functions include modelling of captured wave forms using transcendental functions.
Triggering modes include pre- and post-signal capture as well as counting of events prior to signal capture and video signal triggering. Touch screen control with ‘Windows-like’ menus and 33 keys provide rapid, direct control. Plug-and-play accessories add to ease-of-use.
