THE Kyowa UCAM-60 series of data loggers is suitable for a wide range of applications including traction and civil engineering, and general purpose logging requirements of parameters including voltage, temperature, displacement, and potentiometric transducers, as well as strain gauges, load cells, and accelerometers.
Available from Power Parameters , the data logger can be ac or dc powered, and is available as a mainframe unit into which up to three modules, each of ten channels, can be plugged, providing a local total of 30 channels.
By means of external scanning modules, the UCAM-60 can be expanded from the basic 30 channels to a maximum of 1000 channels.
Measurement results are stored in the logger's internal memory of 5MB. Additional storage is available through a Flash ATA card, and data can be transferred via LAN or RS232 connection to a PC.
A thermal printer is provided as standard. Standard scanning speed is 50 millisecs/channel but an optional faster speed (20 millisecs) is available.
Measurement functions include raw data and corrected data logging with automatic subtraction of initial (baseline) data.
A range of triggering options are provided including absolute value, relative value and stepped-variable triggering whereby 15 sequential triggering steps can be programmed in with each individual step capable of being repeated a finite number of times.
