BAUR’S Dieltest DTL dissipation factor and resistivity test set is designed for testing transformer and other insulating oils. It is available form Power Parameters .
The DTL features resistivity measurement from 2.5MΩ-metre to 20TΩ-metre (100TΩ measurement is also available) and loss factor (tan delta) from 4.0 to 10-5, as well as relative permittivity.
The Baur DTL is provided with a chromium-nickel steel, 45ml, induction-heated test cell with an operating range from 5°C to 120°C and direct temperature via a probe inside the measurement electrode. The test cell has a three-electrode configuration, with glass insulator rings and drain valve. Loss factor tests and permittivity measurements are conducted with an ac voltage variable between 500V and 2000V and resistivity is measured under dc conditions with voltage adjustable between 125V and 500V volts.
Standard test programs are provided that conform to Australian (AS), IEC, VDE, ASTM, BS, and JIS standards as well as testing according to individually selected parameters. Automatic calibration of the empty test cell is provided and the Baur DTL also has an RS 232 interface for PC communication as well as an in-built 24 digit matrix printer.
