Power Machinery is distributing in Australia and New Zealand the range of high precision, ergonomic Optima press brakes from Swedish manufacturer Ursviken.
The Optima is a reliable, safe and ergonomic press brake available with different guarding arrangements, combined with various options and programming possibilities to make the machine easy to use with enhanced productivity.
These options include opti-lift/swing, back gauges in up to 6-axis, crowning, tandem operation, tool clamping, variable die technology and angle control, and tool magazines.
According to Power Machinery, this range of equipment is always expected to be a high-quality, as Ursviken has a near obsession with technical development.
Ursviken was arguably the first company to introduce hydraulic bending presses able to control the left and right cylinders individually.
In association with Cybelec, Ursviken pioneered true CNC control, and developed and patented the double bed referencing system. More recent developments include automatic thickness compensation and programmable die openings.
The Optima press brakes can be configured with tailor-made solutions, and are available in different sizes where, for example, gap, stroke length and tool space can be made according to the customer’s fabrication requirements. Tandem connection is also possible.
The Optima can be supplied with several options to increase flexibility, precision and productivity even further. Examples of this include programmable lower tool, angle control and controlled crowning with the possibility of individual crowning for local variations.
