Roofing and building companies have gained a versatile sheet metal profiling machine that eliminates dependence on a multitude of fixed single roller machines to manufacture different profiles.
Available from Power Machinery , the Quadro profiling machine is a single machine capable of rolling various roof and wall profiles, with fast conversion times because, the user can simply pivot or replace interchangeable cassettes.
The Quadro achieves its fast conversion times through pivoting cassettes and 10 roller units. This technology is equipped with a special control system and electrically operated cross-cutting disc shears, so the Quadro is able to process pre-selected lengths and quantities with full automation.
Interchangeable cassettes (in pivoting or non pivoting mode according to the desired profile) can achieve many different profiles including the following:
Standing seam profile with 25mm and 38mm profile height
- Snap seam profile with 25mm and 38mm profile height
- Nail strip system with 25mm and 38mm profile height
- U-profile up to 38mm turn-up height
- 50mm standing seam profile
- Soffit panel, and
- 44.5mm snap profile.
The Quadro has strip intake widths ranging from 300mm to 800mm; it can handle material thicknesses of NF metals in nor 0.6mm to 0.8mm; operate on sheet steel 0.5mm to 0.7mm; and stainless steel in 0.4mm to 0.5mm.
Dimensions of the unit are 3120mm (length) x 1720mm (width) x 1200mm height. Weight is approximately 1260kg, forward speed about 14m/min, operated by a drive system of 2.2kW, 400V and three-phase motor.
Available components include a beading device, longitudinal cutting for fitting panels, uncoiling reel AH 1250A1. Additional options include a buckling roller set is for concave panels from 3m radius with 25mm standing seam profile, interchangeable cassette equipped with 12 roller units (not pivoting), and an uncoiling reel AH 1250K5.
