Power Machinery has introduced a range of eco-friendly synchronised hydraulic press brakes from the European manufacturer Adira.

The QIHD eco-plus range includes the Indico, Atlantico and Pacifico each of which combine versatility, productivity, accuracy and quality and safety features along with high energy efficiency operation.

The Indico, Atlantico and Pacifico press brakes have an electronic synchronism of axes Y1 and Y2 in a safe and environmentally friendly way to ensure a fast return on investment and the possibility of accomplishing elaborate and demanding jobs.

Energy efficiency comes by way of a hydraulic and electrical package that saves operating energy costs, a newly designed hydraulic system requiring less hydraulic oil and a more ergonomic design to reduce operator fatigue and strain.

In addition, dependable long-life components, faster cycle times and faster set-up prospects lead to lower operation costs and less expense to manufacture parts.

For users wanting to utilise tonnage at different points along the length of the bed, the new QIHD eco-plus range provides good flexibility and high accuracy for off-centre and multi-station bending.

The new QIHD eco-plus range has increased flexibility for cone bending (Y1 can be different from Y2) and for added speed a new generation of faster and more accurate back gauges is supplied.

Productivity in the new QIHD eco-plus range is gained by an optional Bendboost system for high bending speed after the mute point and faster return speed.

For safetyin the new QIHD eco-plus range there is a foot switch operation with fast approach speed on any version of this range of equipment.

Across the models in the new QIHD eco-plus range, various options are available including Wizard on Hands (a digital system measuring the angle reached which transmits this value to the numerical control), multi axes back gauge, tooling and clamping as well as crowning tables and working tables.

Indico

As standard, the Indico includes numerical control Cybelec DNC 60, three axes (Y1, Y2 and X) and a graphic display of the tooling. Providing bending simulation from a remote computer is an offline programming system PC 1200, in two-dimensional colours.

A sturdy, rigid back gauge with full numerical control for X-axis and ball screws offer fast, accurate positioning repeatability.

A manual Z-axis provides displacement of the two back gauge heads along the gauge bar safely away from the operator's side, while the R-axis controls the back gauge bar in height.

Atlantico

Atlantico is suited for companies that specialize in bending parts with a high number of bends in several directions, and where operators need a better visualisation of the parts to bend.

Offering everything included in the Indico, the Atlantico model also has numerical control Cybelec Modeva 1OS featuring coloured 2D graphics. Atlantico has an off-line programs system called PC 1200, which has 3D colours and can allow programming in bending simulation from a remote computer with a direct interchange of information with the DNC.

Reversible punch holders have a manual front quick clamping, enabling the quick change and reversal of the punches.

Pacifico

For the expert bender, Pacifico has a back gauge that moves at very high speeds and allows changing of the height of the dies.

The Pacifico model is good for parts that require beds and reverse beds with variation of the height of the back gauge fingers.

Last generation PC brushless servomotors control axes X and R to allow even faster and more accurate back gauge speeds and positioning times.

Containing all the technical features found in the Atlantico model, the Pacifico has and R-axis as standard and latest generation PC brushless servomotors to control axes X and R to allow fast and accurate back gauge speeds and positioning times. Z1/Z2 axes, X/X1 or X1/X2 are optional.
