Available as a fully manual machine or with the Cut Control System (CCS), the Shark 281 - or 281 CCS as the automated version is known - is a band-sawing machine with a 0° to 60° left cutting range.

The 281 CCS can make single cuts without the attendance of an operator by simply using the head weight controlled by a hydraulic brake.

Furthermore the281 CCS machine can cut manually when required.

Some of the features common across the 281 range are:

  • A fast positioning vice
  • Hydraulic transducer to visualise band tensioning
  • Wire chip brush for band cleaning
  • Adjustable cut stop for same-length cuts
  • Stock support arm with roller suitable for a mounted loading table

In an additional version of the 281, the 281 CCS MA, a pneumatic vice is opened and closed using a manually controlled valve.

A foot-pedal option is also available. All versions of the 281 CCS can be supplied with a disassembled steel base upon request.

281 CCS is available from Power Machinery Australia.
