POWER equipment manufacturers are embracing newly refined V-Twin engine technology delivered by a global name of reliability and performance- Yanmar Diesel. Acclaimed as the world's first liquid cooled, V-Twin diesel engine, the latest release Vengeance 750 is the first offering from the Yanmar series of V-Twin Vengeance.
The new Yanmar 2V750 engine is a two-cylinder, liquid-cooled, overhead valve, 80° V-Twin diesel displacing 749cm3 to deliver 18hp at 3600rpm. The naturally aspirated engine incorporates two valves per cylinder, along with an indirect-injection system and proprietary combustion chamber design inspired by Yanmar's popular TNV series diesels.
Available from Power Equipment , the Yanmar 2V750 engine's innovative vertical crankshaft design and compelling power-to-weight performance is generating considerable interest among OEM's of mowers, pumps and hydraulic equipment alike.
Featuring a lightweight alloy block, cast iron cylinder heads and low vibration characteristics, the Vengeance 750 further strengthens Yanmar's reputation of reliability, low noise operation and dependable performance amid the toughest of operating conditions.
A top-mounted radiator with suction fan takes care of engine cooling while a full pressure lube system incorporates a gear-driven trochoid pump for increased oil flow. Options include an engine silencer and cover plus dry-type air cleaner with paper element filter.
In all commercial operations, engine efficiency can be the difference between profit and failure. Yanmar's Vengeance Diesel stands alone using 36% less fuel than a comparable size petrol engine making Yanmar the profitable choice for commercial operators.
The new exhaust system design of the Vengeance 750 has decreased engine noise, exhaust temperature, heat rejection, and earned Yanmar's latest release with EPA's Tier 11 Emission Compliance ensuring clean burning and running right through the rpm band. Power without sacrificing emission standards is a hallmark of Yanmar Diesel technology.
