CLARK Masts, represented by GFS Electronics , offers a wide range (more than 160 different models) of portable, aluminium alloy, lightweight, air-operated (pneumatic) and mechanically extended masts.
Air-operated masts are available up to 40 metres high and capable of lifting loads up to 300 kilograms.
The masts offer very fast extension times, from 10 seconds for the smaller masts to 180 seconds for the heavy lift taller masts.
Clark says that for many applications the pneumatic system of extension has a lot of useful advantages.
Unlike most hydraulic masts, Clark masts are light (aluminium-alloy construction), they use a working fluid (air) which is also light, does not have to be carried as part of the mast and, if leakage occurs, the mast remains clean.
The masts may be extended using a number of options, including mast mounted handpump, ac or dc powered mast controller/compressor, truck air, or petrol powered compressor.
A wide range of mounting accessories is available for vehicle, shelter or field deployment of the masts.
Masts are available for use in many applications, including with emergency services organisations, in broadcasting, aerial photography, portable lighting and the military.
