The Polex e-Mission Control Mobile Dust and Fume Extraction Unit is currently on display at National Manufacturing Week 2009.
The High Performance e-MISSION Control Mobile Dust and Fume Extraction Unit has been designed to suit a wide range of applications, including the filtration of dust and fumes associated with welding and grinding and chemical oudour extraction.
These mobile dust and fume extraction units are ideally suited continuous operation with continuous self-cleaning performed while in operation.
The way these dust and fume extraction units work that polluted air enters through one or two inlets in the top casing and is directed through a baffle and then upwards through the cartridge filters.
Larger dust particles drop out into the dust tray while the lighter and finer particles continue into the cartridge filters.The cleaned air then enters the clean-air chamber where the air tank and blow pipes are positioned.
Compressed air is injected through a solenoid valve which travels through the blow pipes and into the filters.The blast of air causes the dust to fall off the filters and collect in the tray below.
The cleaned air is then discharged to atmoshpere through an activated carbon filter, or can be connected to discharge ductwork.
The filters are made of Antistatic Spun Bonded Polyester.
These mobile dust and fume extraction units from Polex are constructed from 1.2mm thick folded mild steel, and Powder coated.
The dust and fume extraction units are run by an electric motor starter with start/stop push buttons, and feature an automatic electronic timer for filter cleaning, and an hour meter and alarm for changing filters.
