Polex Environmental Engineering has introduced another MODULAR series of dust collectors to the comprehensive range of dust collectors already offered by Polex. The latest dust collector series, called Modular Shaker Bag Filter series, shares the same Modular design of the reverse pulse series. The filter cleaning system however shakes the filters clean after the system has stopped which makes these units suitable for intermittent operation as opposed to the reverse pulse system which cleans the filters while the system is running.
The Polex Modular Shaker Bag Filter Dust Collectors are fabricated from folded Galvanised sheet metal panels and supported by heavy duty box section steel. The support structure is hot dip Galvanised for durability and long lasting corrosion protection.
The dust collector modules are connected using common panels, which both minimises the number of different components required and makes assembly very simple. Similarly, the support structure is modular and can be easily extended according to airflow requirements.
The provision for explosion panels on the Modular Shaker Bag Filter Dust Collectors is incorporated into the design of the panels and can be fitted at any time.
