Platform Sales have the latest in design, truck mounted EWP’s. The ZED 20 truck mounted platform is the first available in the range and offers 19.8m working height and 9.5m up and over outreach with 200kg in the basket.
The z shaped lower boom configuration provides zero tail swing and the top telescopic boom provides maximum outreach from a low 1.5m above the ground.
Platform Trucks
When installed on vehicles 6.5t GVM and above, outriggers are deployed straight down within the width of the vehicle which means they create a compact overall footprint. This makes it easier to park the vehicle close to the area being accessed and is particularly useful when operating at the roadside because there is nothing to protrude into the way of traffic.
The proportional electro hydraulic controls allow simultaneous movements in a smooth, precise motion from the basket and ground.
Damage Resistant Platforms
The basket is manufactured from a damage resistant, composite material and is designed that in the event of damage, only that part needs to be replaced, not the entire basket. 65° left + 65° right hydraulic basket rotation is standard.
The boom rotation is 360° continuous and the telescopic boom sections have been designed to make optimum use of high resistance steel for a rigid and light structure. The main telescopic boom has two extensions.
Mounted Platforms
The result is a compact, easy to handle machine which can access areas at height where obstacles need to be negotiated. The hoses and cable are mounted inside the booms to prevent damage from trees and other obstacles.
Load sensors provide users with audible and visual warnings if the maximum load is exceeded. Interlocks prevent further operation until the load is brought back within limits.
