Major Australian Packaging Distributor Plasdene Glass-Pak is proud to introduce a unique 31.5mm Plastic Olive Oil Closure with tamper evident band to detect counterfeiting. Capable of a ‘sure pour’, the new closure is set apart from other oil caps with its elegant profile, tamper evidence and ease of use.

The 31.5mm HDPE plastic Sure Pour closure achieves a perfect pour cut off; the well of the pourer ensuring any spill will flow back into the bottle. The longer smooth skirt provides a more stylish profile of bottle and cap, and creates the opportunity to print on both the top of the cap and the skirting around the cap and individual embossing on the skirt.

Made of durable HDPE plastic material, the closure has an even and positive engagement of the tamper evident thread on to the bottle, and can be applied either using semi automatic or fully automatic capping machines, or hand applied with a firm twist.

The creation of the versatile plastic oil cap is the culmination of many months of study of market trends and current demands, careful planning and further modifications under the project management of Plasdene Glass-Pak’s Commercial Manager – Corporate, Michael Berry. The result, is well…..a sure thing!

This HDPE closure is exclusively available in colours of black and gold with a matt finish from the seven Plasdene Glass-Pak Distribution Centres in all major Australian cities as well as Newcastle, NSW. Custom requirements including different tints and embossing may also be developed.

Plasdene Glass-Pak has invested in proprietary tooling of the closure and complements the cap with a hand ‘chuck’ to aid manual application.

The development is in direct response to the continued growth of the Australian Olive Oil market.
