PLANIT , a leading supplier of CAD/CAM software solutions for industry, will be featuring a number of products at National Manufacturing Week 2006, to be held at Sydney's Darling Harbour from May 30 to June 2.
These include the Radan and AlphaCAM products, which can be seen on Planit's Stand 2600 at NMW 2006.
Planit's Radan software suite provides a range of innovative design; manufacture and production control techniques designed for mass production in the whitegoods, electronics, automotive and IT enclosures sectors.
Its AlphaCAM offering is a CAD/CAM system for Microsoft Windows platforms, allowing operators to draw and create 2D and 3D solid objects in a wide range of materials, including timber, plastic and metal.
In addition, this software package has the ability to integrate fully with a wide range of other systems.
Applications have ranged from designing complex theatre props to America's Cup yachts and Formula One racing cars.
