Pioneer Computers introduces two ruggedized notebooks

Supplier News

Pioneer Computers has launched a number of new products that take the business even further away from the midi towers.

Pioneer Computers has introduced two ruggedized notebooks, an in-car PC and an ultra mobile PC (UMPC).

The two ruggedized notebooks launched are the DreamBook Tough A79 and DreamBook Tough V10.

The DreamVision Core Duo Mini PC/Car PC S63 is another example of Pioneer Computer's push away from the traditional PC offerings, being a fan-less, noiseless computer system that can be built into vehicles.

Due to the size of the DreamVision Core Duo Mini PC/Car PC S63, it could also be used as an office PC, digital signage controller, thin client or for numerous other applications.

Rounding out the offerings, Pioneer Computers will also be releasing the DreamBook Vista UMPC 770, featuring a 7-inch touch screen and powered by VIA C7M Nano Processor 1.2GHz.

A 5-inch version of the UMPC is also expected to be launched.
