PILZ will display its range of safety resources at the Safety in Action exhibition in Melbourne. The company will show its professional development, training, safe control circuit designs and safety control products.
The exhibit will include the PNOZ safety relay which is TÜV and BG approved and easy to install. The PNOZ multi saves wiring multiple relays when constructing a safety-related circuit. Safety relays are used to control and monitor emergency stops, light curtains, safety gates, safety mats and two-handed controls.
Pilz Programmable Safety System (PSS) is a logic-driven triply redundant certified safety controller that can controls up to 288 circuits for safety-related functions.
The device's software blocks replace conventional safety relays and diagnostic tools are also available. When teamed with the safety sensors, the system is said to provides a safe and user friendly solution from input to output up to category four under AS4024.1 or SIL 3 as per AS61508.
The company's safe bus systems also meet category four requirements.
The open protocol of the safe bus system SafetyBUS p enables users to incorporate field modules from other manufacturers and network programmable safety systems for more than 1000 I/O over 3.5km, which can then be bridged to double the I/O and bus length.
