Pilz Safety Sensor/switches Control and signalling.

Product/Service Name

Pilz PSEN mag - non-contact magnetic sensors
Pilz PSEN code - non-magnetic sensors
Pilz PSEn mech - mechanical safety switches
Pilz PSEN opt - Light curtains/barriers
Pilz PIT estop - emergency stop buttons
Pilz PIT sign - muting signals

Function/Applications
Non-contact magnetic safety sensor/switches PSENmag Safety switches for monitoring the position of movable guards and approved for safety-related applications in conjunction with almost all the evaluation devices from the PNOZ X safety relay range.

• PSENmag series 2
Approved for safety-related applications in conjunction with evaluation devices from the electronic PNOZelog safety system, the modular PNOZmulti safety system and PSS programmable safety systems with/without SafetyBUS p connection.

• Non- magnetic coded safety sensor/switches PSENcode Particularly suitable for use on metal processing plant and machinery, these offer higher levels of manipulation protection because the enable from the safety device is only triggered if the actuating element is within the switch's response range and the code number on the actuator matches that of the switch (key lock principle)

• Mechanical safety switches
PSENmech
For applications in which the safety gate is not to be opened unintentionally.
Prevents premature operator access via increased extraction force.
Switches with guard locking ensure that the safety gate is interlocked until the hazardous production process is complete

• Light Curtains/Barriers and Muting
PSENopt
Full range of opto-electronic (light curtains) protection devices in various sizes used to safeguard operators where the production process requires physical involvement with machinery.

• Control and signalling
PITestop
Full range of mushroom-type E-STOP pushbuttons with red actuator, with black actuator for area shutdown, with status illumination, with key to release, for panel or surface mount (suitable for hygiene environments to IP69K) with panel mount version with special safety contact blocks. Contact blocks available with N/C / N/O combination, two N/C or one N/C

• Muting lamps
PITsign
Muting is the safe, automatic and temporary suspension of a protective device such as light curtains/barriers while moving material into and out of a hazardous area. In the process, muting lamps signal their status.
