PSENini proximity switches from Pilz Australia have been developed to provide safe detection of metallic objects without using actuators or contacts, offering significant improvements over traditional mechanical switches.

Ideally suited to tasks with long cams, or where several positions are to be detected, these proximity switches can also generate a pulse for counting tasks or for detecting rotational movements up to 10Hz.

Using safe semiconductor outputs, these devices can be combined directly with a wide range of evaluation devices, ensuring investment protection now and in the future.

PSENini proximity switches are also IP67 rated, meaning they can be used in applications where strict hygiene regulations apply, as well as where there is heavy soiling or where insensitivity to shock and vibration is required.
