New version wireless module available from Phoenix Contact

ILB BT ADIO 2/2/16/16 I/O module

The new wireless ILB BT ADIO 2/2/16/16 I/O module adds a universally useable I/O device to Phoenix Contact ’s range of industrial wireless devices.

Sixteen digital signals and two analogue signals are bi-directionally and wirelessly transmitted to a system.

Connection to a field bus is provided by the FLM BT base station. Alternatively, the Modbus I/O FL MOD IO AP access point establishes an Ethernet connection.

The robust industrial Bluetooth connection is fast and has a latency time, depending on the construction, of less than 10ms per device and is also reliable due to its good coexistence with WLAN.

The transmission power can be set between 0 and 16 dBm using a DIP switch, allowing wireless signals to reach desired areas in a targeted manner.

Enough reserves remain to allow distances of several hundred meters to be bridged, depending on the environment.

A selection of compatible antennas rounds off the product range.
