AUSTRALIAN pipe fittings specialist Philmac has launched a new product catalogue as part of its 75th anniversary celebrations.
The new catalogue, published in full colour, incorporates a number of new features including:
* A revised structure that lists the contents in a logical manner with easily identified product headings.
* Colour coding of contents in each section of the catalogue.
* An Inventory Availability Guide that indicates whether stock is available locally, interstate or needs to be ordered.
* More than 600 previously non-catalogued products, including the Durapipe ABS system, the FIP valve range and other incremental expansions to Philmac's existing range of products.
A separate catalogue has also been produced for NaanDan products, which are distributed by Philmac, while a new price book on the Hunter range is expected to be released later in the year.
Philmac sales and marketing general manager Mal Brown said the new catalogues were eagerly anticipated by the market and were one of the organisation's most powerful marketing initiatives for 2004.
"The product catalogue is the most practical piece of marketing material we produce, simply because it is used daily by our customers. Because we haven't released a new catalogue since 2001, the market is very much looking forward to the new publication," he said.
Mr Brown said copies of the catalogues could be obtained through Philmac branches around Australia.
