Leading Australian pipe fittings manufacturer and distributor of irrigation products, Philmac, has made three internal appointments to deliver improved customer service outcomes.
Tarnia Russell will lead Philmac’s product team in the newly created position of Group Product Manager.
Previously, Russell was Philmac’s Product Manager for Compression Fittings. In her new role Russell will continue these responsibilities as well as providing strong product-based marketing support to Philmac’s domestic and international business.
Supporting Russell will be Scott Norton in the position of Product Manager for Valves, BSP and Irrigation products, and Lionel Kerr in the position of Product Manager for Industrial and Drainage.
Richard Mackenzie will continue in his role as Market Development Manager, focusing on developing marketing strategies for Philmac’s existing products, as well as expanding the current range.
According to Philmac’s Group Marketing Manager, Jason Mitchell, the changes reflected Philmac’s commitment to improving all aspects of its business.
These internal appointments within Philmac’s marketing department highlight Philmac’s existing strong skill base as well as its efforts to promote leaders from within the business.
In addition, Philmac plans to recruit for a new position, Marketing Communications Coordinator, to further support the team.
