Australian pipe and fittings manufacturer, Philmac , has revamped its trough valve with a range of new features that ensure easier use and greater durability.
The brass-bodied valve is now even easier to install because of a new hexagonal body shape, which lets the user grip the valve anywhere on the body with adjustable spanners or multi-grips.
The plastic valve body is also reinforced for improved strength and the 1" design incorporates additional support to the lever to help resist twisting and damage by over-exuberant stock.
Other key features include:
·Plastic tubing pre-fitted to the cord to prevent fouling on the valve body in low water situations
·New tie-off method on the float making the cord easier to adjust
·Increased distance between threaded end and lever to prevent contact with the side of the trough
·1" valves now come pre-packed in a clamshell to make stocking easier.
