Pentair Industrial launch liquid filtration systems
Pentair Industrial, a sister concern of Pentair Technical Products , have introduced the Aqualine filtration system which is a cost-saving solution for high-flow-rate applications for the food and beverage, chemical, cosmetics, electronics and other industries.
The Aqualine liquid filtration system features a rugged, 8-inch diameter fibreglass housing that provides good durability while costing up to 50% less than stainless steel alternatives. The housing is available in a 60-inch length, with pleated cartridge construction and an outside-in flow pattern that provides maximum flow rates with the lowest possible pressure drop. The Aqualine filtration system also saves valuable plant floor space with a vertical rack design that allows housings to be stacked, which also increases total flow.
Aqualine cartridges can be easily accessed and replaced without requiring any nuts or bolts in the disassembly, saving significant labor costs. An operator can change the cartridge in a 150 GPM Aqualine System in approximately one-fifth the time of a comparable conventional swing bolt system. With optional isolation valving, a single Aqualine element can be replaced while the whole system remains in operation, eliminating costly downtime. Aqualine cartridges require less frequent filter change-outs. The large diameter and 60-inch cartridge length provides extended filter life, saving additional installation and equipment costs.
Cartridges for the Aqualine liquid filtration system are available in a 6.75-inch diameter and are manufactured with absolute-rated polypropylene media. Aqualine liquid filtration system cartridges contain a PVC core and a proprietary o-ring seal. The cartridges achieve 99.98% (Beta 5000) efficiencies at their stated micron size and are rated ASME Section X Class 1. A combination of better construction, space-saving rack design and cost-effective price, Aqualine delivers long-lasting performance in a compact, convenient package.
