Zebra unveils P430i double-sided ID Card Printer

Zebra has unveiled P430i double-sided ID Card Printer with several options and functionality.

The P430i forms a part of the “i” series Zebra Card printers, which prints individually customized ID cards, as and when required. The P430i is designed and built for a wider range of environments and applications.

The P430i can be used for printing:

Employee and visitor ID cards
Security access control cards
Licenses
Customer loyalty and gift cards
Personalized membership cards
Student and faculty ID cards

The optional dual-sided printhead for simultaneous printing on both sides of the card is a real time saver and is easy to use. Vibrant true-to-life colours, illustrations and logos, colour photographs and identification information are professionally re-produced onto blank cards with the P430i’s “True Colour” printer ribbon technology.

The optional magnetic stripe and smart card encoder can imprint secure individual information into smart cards for restricted access control, and personal information and data.

Innovative and Easy to use:
Featuring all the modern connectivity options, the P430i has both USB plug-and-play and Ethernet interfaces. The 16 character LCD screen provides easy-to-read printer status information, while the translucent media cover allows to see when cards supplies are running low.

Reliable and flexible:
A new angled card media feeder offers improved card handling and easy loading functionality, allowing blank cards to be added while the printer is operating. The self aligning printhead will automatically ensure print quality consistency, and the optional large capacity card feeder will reduce media handling.

Encoder options:

Encoder options include both contact and contactless smart card encoding capabilities.
Built-in 10/100 Ethernet for printer networking and simplified device management – eliminating the need for third party external devises.
three track magnetic stripe encoding (HiCo/LoCo)
