Pfeiffer Wines winery was the main attraction at this year’s annual Rutherglen Winery Walkabout festival, offering guests a whole lot more than samples of some of the best wine in the region.
As a souvenir of the event, visitors were able to have their photo taken at the winery and added to a custom wine bottle label that was then printed and placed on their favorite cleanskin wine bottle.
Thanks to new technology, Pfeiffer Wines was the first to offer a true memento to mark the event with a personal touch that attracted crowds of Pfeiffer Wine fans.
The photos were taken on a digital camera (with no end of idyllic backdrops available). The image was then uploaded instantly to a computer and added to a “Winery Walkabout” wine bottle label artwork.
With the use of the latest full colour label printer, the LX800 from Peacock Bros ., the wine labels were then printed and placed on the bottle. Taking around three minutes to complete the whole process and leaving plenty of time for guests to continue sampling the wines.
The LX800 is full colour label printer supplied by Peacock Bros., instantly printing on labels at 4800 dpi, and can print from any program running under Windows, including all of the latest graphics programs.
Labels can be printed singularly or in batched of hundreds or thousands, eliminating the need to purchase minimum label quantities from third party label printers.
