THARO Systems’ latest label design software now supports the encoding and programming of RFID tagged labels.

Available from Peacock Bros Ltd , Easylabel 5 is one of the simplest of barcode label design software packages on the market today.

The system ensures barcode and RFID labelling is easy to learn and operate. A Windows visual style menu and layout helps new users quickly understand and operate this software package.

To assist with RFID encoding, Easylabel 5 features an RFID wizard that allows the user to program RFID tags and guides the user through the process of creating EPC codes compliant with the guidelines set out by EPC Global.

The wizard will prompt the user for the necessary information, provide a summary of the data and then convert it into an EPC format that can be encoded on an appropriate RFID tag.

Easylabel 5 includes a variety of options for creating endless barcode label designs.

With Easylabel users can also produce SSCC, EAN128 and Trade Unit formatted barcodes simply and automatically.

Easylabel 5 also contains ‘EasyTutor’ - a multimedia training program that will both demonstrate and teach users what can be achieved with the system via movies and tutorials.

Beginners will be creating professional, detailed and visual barcode label formats quickly and confidently with EasyTutor.

Easylabel 5 is compatible with all the leading printer brands such as Zebra technologies, Intermec, Godex, Datamax, SATO, TEC and many more.

Other features include:

* Print job queuing

* Database management

* ‘Sell by’ dates formulation for food and drug labelling

* Consecutive number printing

* Thumbnail preview of your label prior to printing

* Language support for English, Catalan, Czech, Dutch, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Russian, and Spanish languages.
