Barcode labelling for coarse and flexible surfaces

PEACOCK Bros. has released a range of thermal transfer barcode labels that will adhere permanently to both coarse and flexible surfaces. An aggressive permanent adhesive compound allows standard thermal transfer barcode labels to effectively adhere to raw sawn undressed timber, carpet, textiles and tires.

Assists product tracking and inventory recording data without the need for expensive custom built containers.

This system allows barcode identification in industries such as transport, logistics, timber and textiles. Companies that need to track and trace stock pallets within their own facilities can apply barcoded thermal transfer labels to standard wooden pallets (even old weathered pallets). This will assist product tracking and inventory recording data without the need for expensive custom built containers. The same application can be used for tracking and/or identifying stock samples such as carpet, rubber and plastic. The label surface will also accept hand written information and labels can be made into multi-parts for order picking data.

This labelling solution comes standard with additional enhanced properties, resulting in labels that are water resistant, UV stable and compatible with any Thermal Transfer printer and will withstand temperatures of between -40°C and 70°C. Peacock Bros. can also provide complete automated label printer/applicator systems, desktop thermal transfer printers and barcode labelling software.
