Particle & Surface Sciences has announced a series of Lighthouse seminars regarding "Real Time Contamination Monitoring" will be held across Australia and New Zealand during March 2010. The current confirmed dates are Monday 8th March 2010 in Perth, Wednesday 10th March 2010 in Sydney, Thursday 11th March 2010 in Melbourne and Monday 15th March 2010 in Auckland, New Zealand.
Morgan Polen, Vice President of Application Technology from Lighthouse Worldwide Solutions, will be presenting at the Seminar as a special guest speaker. Polen has been working in contamination control and cleanrooms since 1984 and been involved with projects ranging from clean-room design and construction, environmental monitoring program development, facility monitoring system validation protocol creation, particle counter design, biological sampler design, ultra pure water system design, surface conditioning and cleaning systems, ESD Program creation and auditing, and currently develops contamination monitoring programs for customers worldwide.
Polen also has a degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology from Hennepin Technical College in Minnesota, and has been a guest speaker and trainer for the PDA, IDEMA, SEMI and IEST on particle counting and environmental monitoring, and headed installations of pharmaceutical monitoring systems in the US, Asia, Europe.
