Following requests from users in clinical and environmental laboratories, Particle & Surface Sciences has announced that NanoSight AutoSamplers are now available for NS500 nanoparticle characterisation systems.
This addition enables the systems to measure many pre-prepared samples automatically, without the need for user intervention.
Samples are sequentially loaded into the NS500 sample chamber for measurement with a pre-programmed wash cycle in between each sample. This permits the analysis of many similar samples for QA or batch-to-batch variation measurements. Automatic dilution and flush cleaning are driven from simple scripting.
To perform these tasks, the popular Gilson AutoSamplers have been selected. These machines are able to run up to 144 samples to run in one analysis using 1.5ml Eppendorf tubes, enabling round the clock operation.
Typical customers for these upgraded nanoparticle characterisation systems include:
- diagnostic assay companies and research groups
- laboratories working in QA; and
- medical, clinical and environmental researchers with many similar samples to analyse.
Particle & Surface Sciences is the sole distributor throughout Australia and New Zealand for NanoSight nanoparticle characterisation systems.
