These services include the characterisation of particle size, shape, and counting, surface area, density, gas adsorption and mercury porosimetry.
The Micromeritics Tristar 3000 Analyser uses physical adsorption and capillary condensation principles to obtain information about the surface area and porosity of a solid material. It can measure surface areas as low as 0.01m2/g using nitrogen as the adsorbate.
The Micromeritics Tristar 3000 has multi gas capabilities for gases including Nitrogen, Carbon Dioxide, Argon, and Krypton. The Micromeritics Tristar 3000 is also capable of full adsorption and desorption isotherms, Dubinin, T-Plot, Langmuir Surface Area and Total Pore Volume. Isotherm data can also be reported using DFT (Density Functional Theory).
