Manual splitting of logs is not only tedious and hard on the lower back, but also has an element of danger. The new Parklander Portable Log Splitter takes the hard work out of preparing firewood, whilst being safe and easy to use.
Ruggedly-built, the new Parklander Portable Log Splitter unit has a 7 ton hydraulic ram, which has enough power to split tough Australian hardwoods. This compares favourably to more conventional motorised splitters.
Weighing only 50 kg, the Parklander Log Splitter has two large rear wheels for ease of portability.
With a 10 Amp electric motor, the new Parklander Portable Log Splitter unit can be connected to any 240 volt mains power supply—or, to an appropriate generator.
Another great feature is the location of two levers at the back of the ram, for safety and ease of operation. After starting the motor, the operator can work the levers, without having to worry about keeping a finger on the start button. Single level units require the continuous pressing of the start button, whilst operating.
The Parklander Log Splitter easily accepts logs up to 250 mm (10”) in diameter and up to 520 mm (20 ½”) in length.
