ZT mowers are known for their versatility, low centre of gravity, and their high price. With the release of two new ZT mowers under the Parklander value-for-money outdoor products range, available from Parklands Power Products , the lower cost perspective is now part of the equation.
The XD52Z sports a powerful 16.4 kW (22 hp) Briggs and Stratton engine, with enough grunt to handle the large 52” (132 cm) cutting width and make easy work of larger mowing areas. A top speed of 11kmph makes a professional looking lawn more achievable in a shorter space of time. Six cutting height settings, from 25mm to 125mm (1” to 5)” allow the operator the versatility of adjusting just the right cutting height.
Commercial-grade transaxles and large 20x10-8 rear tyres allow smooth movement on uneven surfaces and provide superior operator comfort. A high-back seat, with armrests that can be adjusted 150mm forward or back to allow for more legroom provides the operator with the ability to achieve optimum comfort and seating position for all mowing jobs.
Twin fuel tanks with a total capacity of 34 litres mean working larger areas can be done with less refuelling stoppages up to 5.5 hours of operation. Other features include electric start, commercial quality 4-gauge reinforced steel deck, anti-scalp rollers and hydro gear double hydraulic pump drive, with cooling fans for longer running.
The other model, available from Parklands Power Products, is the XD40Z, with 12.7 kW (17 hp) Kohler engine and 26L fuel tank capacity. Unlike the larger XD50Z, the 40” (101 cm) has three 13.8” (35 cm) blades, while the larger model has three 18” (45.7 cm) blades.
