Parklands Power Products (Aust) provides the Oleo-Mac chainsaw series. The Oleo-Mac chainsaw series from Parklands Power Products deliver high-performance and reliability. These chainsaws are GS720 and GS820, which replace the 971 and 981 models, respectively.
A notable improvement is the large air filter, which is designed to help protect the engine under dusty conditions, whilst extending periods between filter servicing. An improved five-point anti-vibe system along with the ergonomically designed handgrips and weight distribution result in greater user comfort and reduced strain.
These chainsaws pack more power. The GS720 sports a 4.0 kW (5.4 hp) 70.8 cubic cm engine, which easily power is a 20 inch bar or larger. For work on the much larger tree trunks, the GS820, with its 4.4 kW (6.0 hp) 80.7 cubic cm engine, makes tree felling and cutting easy.
The user will find both units are easy to handle. Improved throttle control allows these saws to provide linear torque at different engine speeds, while providing high performance and consistent efficiency in varying working conditions. An easy on starting system avoids kickback during ignition and reduces user effort. The primer draws the fuel mixture actively into the carburettor for easier starting when cold, after refuelling or following long idle periods.
The fuel tank is separate from the engine in both chainsaws, to allow both units to run all day, at all temperatures. Both provide the user superior versatility, cutting precision and ease of use features that are found in more expensive units.
They have an adjustable automatic aluminium oil pump, which provides variation of the oil feed, depending on use and bar or chain combination. With two piston rings and nickel plated cylinder, the user gets better compression for longer periods and longer service life. Full parts and service backup is provided by Parklands Power Products across Australia.
