The value-for-money Parklander range of walk-behind mowers from Parklands Power Products has just been expanded, with the introduction of three new models.
First introduced in 1985 by Parklands Power Products, the Parklander range now includes chainsaws, brushcutters, hedgetrimmer, blower-vac, chipper/shredder, as well as ride-on mowers and tow-behind slashers.
The Parklander PCS-5000 is the base walk-behind model with 18” heavy duty steel base and a gutsy Quantum 50 engine. The unit also features an improved catcher, ball bearing wheels and comfort grip handle.
This is followed by the PML-2580, which features a new 19” alloy chassis, with superflow deck and powerful 2-stroke engine. This unit also has mulching ability. This Big Lightweight is great for large areas as it is easy to push, which also makes it ideal for mowing slopes. The large capacity catcher, with two handgrips, allows for easy emptying. A strong steel 11 point height adjuster allows the operator a wide range of cutting heights.
The PML-4680 is another 19” alloy chassis model, with similar features, including mulching capability. This heavy duty 4-stroke is powered by a 5.5 hp overhead valve engine. Other features include a heavy-duty catcher and handles. The powerful 4-stroke engine gives this unit enough staying power for mowing larger areas.
