Four-wheel drive (4WD) ATVs are superior off-road vehicles for people seeking thrills or performing serious farm work. Aimed at both the sport and farm markets is the new Parklander X5 ATV from Parklands Power Products (Aust) .
OEM engine supplier, CFMoto has developed and built an improved 500cc 4-stroke engine to go in the X5. The latest variant in a long line of popular engines, the liquid-cooled CF188 doesn’t disappoint.
The large cylinder bore, four-valve engine provides high torque and more than adequate power at both high and low speeds. Fuel is regulated by a Japanese Mikuni carburettor.
The enhanced styling includes an advanced digital dashboard with high brightness LED dials as well as an attractive paint finish and colour highlights.
The ATVs (All Terrain Vehicles) are ruggedly built to take the toughest off-road conditions.
A new safety feature is the improved park brake. Located on the right handle bar, a safety lever prevents the use of the throttle when engaged.
A rider can leave the ATV in drive and the unit will not move once the brake is engaged.
The X5 also has an advanced gear shift with easy forward and reverse operation.
For added safety, the gear shift also prevents direct movement of forward to reverse. The automatic CVT transmission provides smooth gear change on the go.
Parklands also announced upgrades to their popular line of UTVs. These include a new digital dash, doors and alloy rims.
All Parklander UTVs now come with a roof as standard. Ideal for the hot Australian sun, the rider will appreciate the shade offered.
The ATVs also have a winch as standard to assist in utility work around the farm.
