The four new nitrogen generator models are specifically designed to meet the gas flow, purity and pressure requirements of the latest generation of liquid chromatography mass spectrometer (LC/MS) instruments.
The new LC/MS 15, LC/MS 20, LC/MS 30 and LC/MS 40 generators - with flow rates from 15-40L a minute - offer increased flexibility in laboratories by allowing single or multiple instruments to be supplied, said domnick hunter Manager, Gas Generation, John Davis.
On-site gas generation dispenses with the need for pressurised gas cylinders that continually need to be changed as they run out. As developments in LC/MS instrumentation push nitrogen requirements ever higher, the arguments for replacing cylinder supplies with an in-situ gas generator have never been stronger, according to Mr Davis.
Using fully regenerative pressure swing adsorption technology with proven durability, the new generators provide a continuous stream of clean, dry nitrogen without the need for secondary purification. They are fully compatible with all known APCI and ESI interfaces.
Models featuring integral oil-free compressors give increased security of supply, completely removing the reliance on external air supplies. Dual compressors assist in reducing the duty cycle and guaranteeing trouble-free operation.
All system components are supported by a manufacturer's one-year warranty.
Extended warranties are available through preventative maintenance contracts backed by domnick hunter's global aftermarket capability.
