Key international players from the industry recently met at the Power Conversion Intelligent Motion (PCIM) show in Nuremberg, Germany.
The PCIM is Europe's leading meeting point for specialists in power electronics and its appliances in intelligent motion, renewable energy and energy management. Panasonic also exhibited its advanced power devices and solutions at the PCIM towards further expanding and developing its sales channels in Europe.
Saving energy has become a priority given the increasing environmental issues and a rapid decrease in non-renewable energy resources such as oil. The role of power supplies for electrical systems in energy conservation is becoming a major part of the solution. Power devices used in electrical energy conversion and control systems that consume tremendous amounts of power during operation are especially regarded as the key devices to ‘save energy’. It is therefore important to optimise the efficiency of these devices to minimise energy loss during operation.
Beginning October 2014, Panasonic will start a new organisation, Automotive & Industrial Systems Europe. Panasonic will continue to contribute to the progress of home appliances, automotive solutions as well as house and town management systems in the European market.
