Pacific Sensor Technologies have recently released the new CL2000, an 8 channel carcass temperature logger.
Manufactured by MadgeTech, CTL2000 temperature loggers measure and record data from up to 8 thermocouple channels, enabling the user to verify and validate post-production meat sterilisation cycles. It also helps to reduce pathogens, and ensures post-slaughter sterilisation process parameters are achieved.
This temperature logging equipment has a black anodised aluminium enclosure with a stainless steel hook that allows the device to be hung directly from a carcass.
CTL2000 temperature loggers are splash proof and are suitable for use throughout the entire sterilisation process. The eight thermocouples can be inserted into different sections of the meat, providing an overall temperature profile.
The push button or programmable start and status LEDs provide process optimisation. Additionally, if a thermocouple is removed or severed during logging, the software automatically annotates the data.
CTL2000 8 channel carcass temperature loggers will help to prevent food safety problems, improve quality and ensure that the chances of a recall are minimised.
Pacific Sensor Technologies and MadgeTech data loggers are also low cost.
