PACIFIC Industrial Supplies has released the ESABMig C280 and C340, compact and robust welding power units. Designed for medium duty MIG/MAG welding use, these units work with solid and cored steel, stainless steel or aluminium wires.
They work with or without shielding gas, to provide smooth, quality welds. The C280 and C340 incorporate specially developed Esab software to provide high reliability and performance.
The C280 is a 10 voltage step unit, with the ability to adjust wire feed speed, burnback time and spot welding time. In comparison, the C340 is a 40 step unit with adjustable wire feed speed, 2/4 stroke control and creep start. The wide current and voltage range, plus the two inductance outlets allow the user to optimise settings for a wide range of filler material and gases for use in many varying applications.
The two units operate with air-cooled welding torches. ESABMig C280 and C340 are made with heavy duty galvanised metal casing for corrosive and dirty environments. A built-in wire feeder and large wheels make these units practical mobile solutions. Options include a V/A digital meter, air filter and transformer for a CO2 heater.
