Pacific Data Systems announces the launch of a new SCADA compatible water quality monitoring station designed to provide economical, high performance remote automation and monitoring for all water applications.
Developed by Pacific Data Systems, the SCADA-compatible water quality station is suitable for a range of water and wastewater operations, including local government, mining and aquaculture. The PDS water quality station can be configured for permanent or portable monitoring installations. Customers can also choose the water quality parameters they wish to monitor such as pH, turbidity, EC, depth and level.
Manufactured using high quality sensors from GE Druck and Ponsel, the water quality monitoring stations feature powerful alarm management functions including multimedia messaging, recipient groups, escalation and shift management. Users can acknowledge alarms and initiate logic operations from their smartphones, tablets, or any wireless devices.
Compatible with existing SCADA systems, the Pacific Data Systems water quality station is powered by the CSE-Semaphore T-Box LT2 RTU. The system can connect to, and extend the functionality of existing remote monitoring and control systems.
