The design of Duff-Norton air motor jacks available from PT Link Systems incorporates a long transport handle which folds down when the jack is in use. The up or down hand throttle control has been located in a well guarded position on the jack and the lever's position clearly indicates to the operator which direction the jack has been set.
These air motor jacks have a rugged shell and a large diameter base making them extremely stable under top heavy loads. Portability of these jacks is achieved with solid rubber tire roller bearing wheels. They are also equipped with an automatic shut off which stops the motor when the lifting standard reaches its raised or lowered safe limit position.
Other safety features include brakes on the 50 and 100 ton air motor jacks to prevent accidental lowering and because the load is lowered and raised by an air motor, the speed is always under constant control which eliminates the possibility of the load slipping or dropping suddenly.
Duff-Norton air motor jacks also have a built-in muffler, ball bearing thrust and radial mountings for easy action and a long working life. A screen in the air hose connection is easily removed for cleaning and the jacks are easy to lubricate through two convenient plugs one is located in the jack itself and the other in the air motor.
