POWER Team, represented by PT Hydraulics Australia , has released the Railroad Edition portable jack. It is designed for use locomotive and railcar maintenance.

It is available in 60t and 100t versions and comes with extensions to match lifting pad heights on most rolling stock. The jack can be controlled with remote motor control and remote motor-valve control. It is powered by a PE55 pump. It has a 61cm collapsed height for low-clearance lift pads and a 36cm stroke for maximum lift.

Large urethane-filled tyres don’t go flat and a small footprint makes it easy to operate and move into position. The remote hand switch control has a 6.1m cord for operator safety. The load-control system provides chatter-free control and smooth lowering. The jack’s adjustable handle tilts to start the job and is easily locked and unlocked without requiring the operator to shift position.

A NEMA 4 electrical box and rainhood protects the pump motor and controls from water. The cribbing block set has handles and a storage rack, providing solid mechanical load holding.
