PT Hydraulics Australia
provided support to the ARRO 2012 Challenge event held earlier this year in Hobart, Tasmania.
PT Rescue supplied a range of rescue equipment to be used in the Challenge including Lukas hydraulic equipment and eDraulic cutters and rams, Vetter lifting airbags, Stabfast stabilisation and Packexe Smash Glass Management. Competitions were held across categories such as Controlled Rescue, Immediate Rescue and Entrapped Rescue.
All in attendance agreed that the ARRO 2012 Challenge provided the ideal platform for sharing ideas and knowledge, enabling participants to learn the latest techniques and train on the latest vehicles.
PT Rescue congratulates all the teams for their efforts, especially the Tasmania Emergency Services Agencies and ARRO for putting together a great event as well as the Workshop Coordinators who presented a range of high quality skills sessions to benefit all participants.
ARRO 2012 Challenge was won by the Queensland Fire and Rescue – Cairns team led by Ian Fulton. The winners will represent Australia at the 2013 World Rescue Challenge.
