Bio Ex Foam, distributed in Australia and New Zealand by PT Hydraulics Australia offers a range of firefighting foams that are effective on fires and have no negative impact on the environment.

Firefighting foams have come under heavy scrutiny over the last decade after testing found they could have severe detrimental effects on the environment. Bio Ex Foam’s firefighting foams are biodegradable and fluorine-free, and come in a range of options to fight bush fires and urban fires including chemical and hydrocarbon fires.

ECOPOL is an alcohol resistant FFF (Fluorocompound Free Foam) concentrate formulated for use on chemical and hydrocarbon fires. ECOPOL's ability to hold its water for long periods of time makes it ideal for use on polar solvent fires. When portioned at 1%, ECOPOL can be used as an A Class foam. ECOPOL is 100% biodegradable and fluorine-free.

BIO FOR foams are available for use at low, medium and high expansion, and are recommended for A Class fires. These firefighting foams are not only efficient in bush and urban fires but also for all hydrocarbon fires including vehicle fires. BIO FOR is also fluorine-free and totally biodegradable.

BIOFILM (AFFF) has been especially developed to address specific B Class hydrocarbon fires. At low expansion BIOFILM is perfect for forceful application, and is ideal for blanket protection against burn back when used at medium expansion. BIOFILM meets the EN 1568-3 and ICAO: Level B standards and is glycol free.

Bio Ex Foam meets the needs of customers around the world in diverse segments including fire departments, airports, defence, marine and petrochemical facilities.
