PENTAQ Technology has celebrated its 15th birthday and is still based out of the original Moorebank facilities in suburban Sydney.
PENTAQ Technology was founded by Raj Sharma, who has over 30 years experience in the PC Distribution and Sales business in Australia, New Zealand, the United States of America and Asia - including India.
“I was lucky to get my initial training in hardware manufacturing and sales in 1981 in the USA, then with sales and distribution with the NEC Corporation in NZ in mid 80's,” he said.
By 1990 he was the General Manager of Tech Pacific HK and Director of all Tech Pacific offices in Asia.
“With another two years with the FIC Group / VIA in Hong Kong, the US, Taiwan and Australia, I decided to setup PENTAQ in Sydney and take some time out of the multinational corporate scene to pursue other passions - like raising my family and indulging in motor racing which I found to be useful in also promoting the business,” Raj Sharma added.
PENTAQ Technology has a team of network engineers and technicians for all client-sort-after IT products and services. The company offers complete 'One Stop Shop' services from initial design, development of IT solutions, installation, support and ongoing Service Level Agreements to its customers.
PENTAQ Technology has established a software development team in India and is about to launch its own customised ‘Mini – ERP’ solution for its customers. With a team of experienced and skilled developers, PENTAQ Technology is confident of making this another success, both locally in Australia and globally, in the near future.
PENTAQ Technology also has a fully automated computer assembly plant facility with a capacity to produce over 4,000 PCs and notebooks per month which provides the ability to custom built-to-order systems.
PENTAQ Technology customers include corporate, government, educational, medical, real estate and panel and paint shops in Australia and New Zealand with over 10,000 computer units installed and supported.
