Minecom Australia  will launch its updated Active Personal Tag, which ensures miners are traceable (via the tag) to vehicles on Stand 2305 during AIMEX 2007 – Asia Pacific’s International Mining Exhibition, to be held at Sydney’s Olympic Park from September 4 to 7, 2007.

The new Active Personal Tag features improved quality and durability compared with earlier models, along with a smaller and lighter casing.

Minecom will also launch a new IS Leaky Feeder System which is approved to the IEC60079-0:2004 and IEC 60079-11:2006 standards and suitable for the coal mining and longwall industry.
